Amanda started with Communities In Schools as an intern while attending the University of Washington, Tacoma. After graduating with a degree in Social Welfare with a minor in Criminal Justice, Amanda went to work for the Department of Corrections. Amanda missed making a difference in students’ lives. In 2019, Amanda once again joined the Communities In Schools team as a School Outreach Coordinator and loves what she does. Making sure students have what they need to be successful is important to Amanda because seeing students thrive and better themselves makes everything worth it!
