Omontreunna started with Communities in Schools of Federal Way-Highline in 2021 as our Experiential Learning Coordinator at Truman Campus. Growing up as a local, she completed her primary education in Federal Way. Omontreunna went on to graduate from the University of Washington Tacoma with a degree in Business Administration. She loves being an active part of the community she grew up in and is excited to do her part promoting positive influence among her students. In her free time, Omontreunna enjoys reading, shopping and traveling.

Omontreunna believes that every student should learn to celebrate themselves, especially their small victories. She has always been passionate about assisting our youth by supporting them in their times of need and success; supporting them through anything. It is important to her that her students learn to celebrate every victory no matter how small because it will teach them to embrace themselves in all aspects of their lives and be proud of every step of their journey; because every small victory is a stepping stone to their goals.

People get lost when they think of happiness as a destination…but happiness is a mood, and it’s a condition, not a destination. If people thought of it that way, they’d find happiness more often.
